First-year cost at 50 clients with a branded app

On annual billing, TrueCoach comes out about $109 cheaper in year one. On monthly billing, Trainerize is about $71 cheaper. From year two, with no setup fee, Trainerize’s monthly-billing cost drops to $1,740.

Growing past 50 clients

TrueCoach’s public plans stop at 50 active clients. Its pricing page says to email support for special pricing above that, and its FAQ says to contact the team for custom pricing above 250 clients. Trainerize publishes Pro prices up to 200 clients ($250/mo monthly) and Studio Plus for 500 or 1,000 clients per location.

Features each plan lists

TrueCoach. Every plan includes the program and workout builder, client management tracker, MyFitnessPal integration, habit tracking, client dashboard, 3,000+ exercise video library, in-app messaging, and free automated payments. Standard and Pro add public coach profiles, wearable data, a custom-branded app, advanced habit tracking, and Zapier automations. TrueCoach’s plan cards list the same extras on Standard and Pro, so the main difference is the client limit (20 vs 50). Confirm Zapier access on Standard during your trial.

Trainerize. Grow includes the AI Workout Builder, custom programs, and wearables. Pro adds custom exercise videos, consultation forms, advanced messaging, and challenges. Scheduling, payments, video calls, and the branded app are add-ons. Details are in our Trainerize pricing breakdown.

Which to choose

Choose TrueCoach if you want one predictable price with payments and a branded app bundled in, especially at 6 to 20 clients, or if the 90-day money-back guarantee on annual plans matters to you. Choose Trainerize if you have under 5 or over 50 clients, want the longer 30-day trial, or want published pricing all the way to 200 clients. For cheaper options at higher client counts, see Trainerize alternatives.
