TrueCoach plans at a glance
Checked Oct 31, 2026. US dollars. “Annual” means the per-month price when billed annually.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Up to 5 | $29.98 | $26.34 | Individual trainers getting started in digital coaching |

| Pro | Up to 50 | $164.98 | $136.99 | Established fitness businesses |

First-year cost
| Plan | 12 × monthly | Annual billing (12 × per-month price) | You save on annual |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $359.76 | $316.08 | $43.68 |

| Pro | $1,979.76 | $1,643.88 | $335.88 |
Per active client at the top of each tier on annual billing, that’s about $5.27 on Starter, $2.90 on Standard, and $2.74 on Pro.
What each plan includes
Every plan: program and workout builder, client management tracker, MyFitnessPal nutrition and habit tracker, client dashboard, 3,000+ video exercise library (the feature list says 3,500+), in-app messaging, and free automated payments. TrueCoach Payments is powered by Stripe and handles recurring client payments. The full feature list also includes iOS, Android, and web apps, workout templates, push and email notifications, and client onboarding by email or text.
Standard and Pro add:
- Public coach profiles (new) for showing your services and taking leads
- Data integration with Apple, Garmin, WHOOP, and other wearables
- A custom-branded fitness app
- Advanced habit and nutrition tracking
- Business automations powered by Zapier
On the Zapier point, the page contradicts itself. The Standard and Pro plan cards both list Zapier automations, but the full feature table marks “Automations Powered By Zapier” as “Exclusive to Pro.” If Zapier matters to you, confirm it on Standard during your trial.
The practical difference between Standard and Pro is the client limit: 20 vs 50.
Fees and billing terms
- Extra fees: TrueCoach’s FAQ answer is “Nope, what you see is what you get.”
- Cost to your clients: free.
- Contract: month to month by default, cancel anytime. Annual plans are optional.
- Plan changes: upgrade or downgrade at any time; the change shows on your next billing cycle.
- TrueCoach Guarantee: an unconditional 90-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers on an annual plan. “Restrictions apply.”
- Add-on: discounted NASM CEU Library access (up to 33% off), embedded in the TrueCoach app.
More than 50 clients
The public plans stop at 50 active clients. The pricing page says to email support@truecoach.co for special pricing above 50, and the FAQ says to contact TrueCoach for custom pricing above 250 clients. If you expect to grow well past 50, compare plans that publish higher tiers. See Trainerize alternatives or TrueCoach vs Everfit.
Adding booking
SimplyBook.me is a general booking platform, not a coaching app. Its pricing page lists a Free plan (50 bookings a month, 1 provider), Basic at $11.9/mo billed annually or $13.9 monthly (100 bookings, 5 providers, payments, deposits and tips), and Standard at $24.9 or $29.9 (500 bookings, 15 providers). It has a 14-day free trial of premium features with no credit card. For forms and onboarding tools, see client onboarding tools for coaches.
